Really a very tasteful treatment of the subject By: Reverend   Aug 18-2005

The secret communique that is the focus of the new comic was discovered by Tempo, etched into the wood of a local park bench. The message is clearly encrypted, since the sentence doesn't make any god-damned sense. The enscriber took the time to punctuate the verse, although they did so incorrectly, so I feel the placement of the apostrophes holds the key to cracking the encryption.

Let's start with the apostrophe after the word "hate". I believe it indicates that a force, the personification of Hate, has possession of several letter u's. This assertion has two direct consequences. First, it means that Hate is the indirect sponsor of Seaseme Street. Second, "Every 1 hate's u" really means something like "Every one of Hate's U's". The sentence may be calling upon the power of all of Hate's U's, but excluding that "U" which people call "Ur Lezbo's".

It's clear this incantation is the beginning of an enchantment or summoning, one whose power is destroyed if you accidently catch the attention of the elder being Ur Lezbo's. That would explain the spell's confusing syntax. Speculating along these lines, I have discovered that the apostrophe suspended between the "o" and the "s" isn't really an apostrophe at all, rather it's an ancient rune or glyph intended as part of the creature's name. The pronunciation is lost to all but the sorceror who dares to dabble in this, the blackest of magics.

Clearly, this is the work of a dumbass.
